Welcome to MassBay Community College!
The 2020-2021 academic year promises to be unlike any other in our 60-year history. With a primary focus on the health and safety of our community, we have developed plans and procedures for the fall semester that will deliver all of our non-laboratory coursework online (asynchronous) or remotely (synchronous). As we learn more about the Coronavirus and our federal and state leaders’ response to it, we will adjust our plans for spring semester accordingly.
Despite the uncertainty wrought by the Coronavirus outbreak, one thing that has never wavered at MassBay is our commitment to the success of our students. This College is filled with incredible people - from our richly diverse student population to our passionate and talented faculty - who live out our mission each day. Recently we created the hashtag #OneTeamMassBay to reinforce our collective resolve to provide the teaching, academic support, and career services our students rely on. As we formulated our safety plans this past year, #OneTeamMassBay became our mantra. No virus will deter us from serving your needs while you are a MassBay student. Your academic advisor, our student development team, or any other MassBay staff person is just a call or email away during these troubling times.
