Designed for high-intermediate level students. Focuses on the development of abilities in academic reading, writing, speaking, and listening through an integrated approach. Readings and classroom discussion are used to prepare students for reading/writing tasks they will encounter in academic assignments. Students produce a portfolio including three essays and a reading journal. Required for some students based on College placement tests. Lecture: 6 hours per week. 6 CRNCR Y ESL Placement into ESL III
