NU 225 CONCEPTS IN NURSING CARE ACROSS THE LIFESPAN II

This course expands on an understanding of nursing concepts across the lifespan. Professional concepts focus an understanding of evidence-based practice and quality and safety in acute care settings. Analysis of new biophysical concepts and exemplars support the application of problem solving to nursing and health care needs across the lifespan and in a variety of healthcare settings. Interrelated psychosocial and humanistic concepts continue to be addressed. An exploration of caring interventions and more complex variables supporting them is undertaken. This course is linked to the NU 226 practicum course. Failure in either NU 225 or NU 226 will require a repetition of both courses. 3 credits. 3 CRNCR Y NURADN Prerequisites: NU 135, NU 160, NU 161, CS 100.
