NU 260 CONCEPTS IN NURSING CARE ACROSS THE LIFESPAN III

This course focuses on pre-graduate analysis and synthesis of complex aspects of interrelated nursing concepts across the lifespan. Professional concepts focus on application of evidence-based practice and quality and safety in acute/care and critical care settings. Biophysical concepts focus on health problems or exemplars that are less predictable. A focus on advanced principles of care management and professionalism, critical thinking, and clinical judgment with respect to the complex needs of individuals requiring nursing care in a variety of healthcare settings is included. This course is linked to the NU 261 practicum course. Failure in either NU 260 or Nu 261 will require a repetition of both courses. 4 credits. 4 CRNCR Y NURADN Prerequisites: NU 225, NU 226, NU 235, NU 236, any Humanities Elective. Co-requisites: NU 261, NU275.
