HU 103 HUMAN VALUES, PERSONAL FREEDOM, AND THE ARTS
An exploration of topics and issues from the Ancient Greeks, Romans, and Middle Ages that have a major influence on people in the twentieth century. Major ideas examined include wisdom, love, duty, courage, justice, freedom, the relationship of people to each other, their country, and their religion. Lecture: 3 hours per week. 3 Credits
