PS 150 SELF-ASSESSMENT AND CAREER LIFE PLANNING
This course will introduce students to the various steps involved in career and life decision making. In relation to career process, theories of Holland, Maslow, Super and Gardner will be presented. Each student will have the opportunity to perform multiple self-assessment inventories and to explore and analyze their skills, values, interests, motives, personality and thinking styles in relationship to career/life options. Resume writing and interview techniques will be addressed. Lecture: 3 hours per week. 3 Credits
