PS 240 PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS This course will cover the history, current classification, and a multipath perspective to understand symptoms, causes and treatment of various psychological disorders. Students will become familiar with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) as a tool to guide diagnosis. Attention will be given to various clinical and psychopharamacological treatments for mental health disorders. Discussion will include the role of cultural factors as they relate to psychopathology. Lecture: 3 hours per week. 3 Credits. Prerequisite: PS 101
