This program is designed to prepare learners for a sustainable and rewarding career in healthcare, as an integral part of a dynamic, patient-centered team. The primary goal of the Medical Assisting program is to prepare competent entry-level Medical Assistants in the knowledge (cognitive domain), skills (psychomotor domain), and professional behavior (affective domain. This Medical Assistant program offers training in blood drawing (phlebotomy), electrocardiograms (EKGs), injections, vital signs and blood pressures, pharmacology, training in clinical, laboratory and administrative skills giving endless possibilities for a successful, sustainable career.

This is a flex program with the majority of classes asynchronous online with the exception of MO106 and MO107 Medical Assistant Skills I &II offered on the Framingham Campus and MO108 Medical Assistant Capstone (160 hours) offered during the daytime hours at a medical facility.

Admission Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent, or Associate Degree or higher.
