AI 103 AUTOMOTIVE ENGINE DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR

This course is designed to teach the principles and procedures necessary to understand the operation and repair of an automotive internal combustion engine. Students are provided with practical experience in the diagnosis, disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of a modern automotive internal combustion engine. Precision measurements, engine mechanical testing procedures, and interpreting engine service specifications will be emphasized. Lecture: 1 credit. Lab: 3 credits.
