CS 118 SCRIPTING

This course introduces fundamental programming concepts. Students learn to design and implement scripts. Web-based scripting will be introduced while shell-based scripting is emphasized. Students will learn scripting for system administration and basic security practices such as bounds checking and input validation. By the end of the course students will have a concrete understanding of programming in important scripting contexts. 3 Credits
