MA 109X ACCELERATED ELEMENTS OF MATH COREQUISITE*

This course is designed for students who place into MA 98* (or the equivalent) and who opt to take MA 109. Activities will include reviewing math skills in sync with the material being taught in the concurrent MA 109 course. Project level problems will be used to incorporate the application of concepts. Groups will be formed to encourage communication of math skills amongst peers. This course will be graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. This course is part of the Math Co-requisite Project. 2 Credits Corequisite: Students are required to take MA 109X and the corresponding section of MA 109. Prerequisite: MA 95* (or equivalent) or an appropriate placement test score.
