HL 123 ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY

This course teaches students to perform Electrocardiogram (EKG) tests for recording impulses transmitted by the heart. Learning how to perform basic 12-lead EKG placement is the foundation of this course. The course prepares students to be EKG technicians where they assist providers in diagnosing and treating cardiac and blood vessel irregularities. Lecture hours per week: Asynchronous online. Lab hours: 2 hours in person on campus 3 times per week. 2 Credits
