AI 208 AUTOMOTIVE DRIVETRAIN DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR An introduction to the systems and components found in a typical automotive drivetrain including manual and automatic/continuously variable transmission/transaxle operation and service. AWD/4WD and differential/axle service, diagnosis, and repair will be examined. Interpreting power flow and performing diagnosis of shift concerns, drivetrain electronic control circuits, and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) will be emphasized. Lecture: 2 credits.
