IN 103 HISTORY OF HOME FURNISHINGS
This course outlines the evolution of period furniture, architecture,
interiors, and materials from the Gothic to the present.
A detailed analysis of furniture styles and construction will be
presented in an historical context. In order for the student to
develop an appreciation for furnishings and decoration, trips
to museums, furniture showrooms, and historic homes will be
planned. Lecture: 3 hours per week. 3 Credits
