MN 210 STRENGTH OF MATERIALS I
Study of internal forces produced by externally applied load, stress, strains, shear forces and bending moment diagrams, mechanical properties of materials, torsion, bending, combined loadings, plane stresses and plane strain, principal stresses, maximum shear stress, and Mohr’s circle. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Lab: 2 hours per week. 4 credits 4 Credits Prerequisite: MN 203 or by instructor’s permission.
