NU 280 ADVANCED CONCEPTS FOR LPN TO RN BRIDGE WITH PRACTICUM



This course synthesizes an understanding of key professional, psychosocial and biophysical concepts to nursing practice and evidence-based care in the prevention and management of more complex and unpredictable health problems across the lifespan. A variety of strategies are utilized to assist students to develop a deeper understanding of actual and potential healthcare alterations related to concepts such as perfusion, oxygenation, immunity, infection, intracranial regulation and violence. Advanced professional concepts such as healthcare quality, leadership and healthcare systems are evaluated from the perspective of the registered nurse.
