NU 281 CAPSTONE FOR LPN TO RN BRIDGE



This final course is intended to demonstrate achievement synthesis of program learning outcomes or core competencies through analysis of course work completed in practical nursing studies as well as this program. A variety of independent and collaborative peer activities are intended to elicit the responsibility and self-directed learning required to successfully transition to registered nurse practice including the completion of a series of reflective self-assessments to determine areas that need to be strengthened prior to graduation and the development of an e-portfolio showcasing program achievements. As part of this course students will also be required to complete pre-assessment exit testing, a formal NCLEX-RN review and final exit testing worth a proportion of their grade . 4 credits.
