LI 200 INTRODUCTION TO LITERATURE

Through the study of fiction, poetry, drama, and creative nonfiction, this class teaches students how to read and analyze literature and understand it as means to connect people and cultures across time, space, and ideologies. This class lays important groundwork for higher-level literature classes, as well as strengthening general reading and writing skills. Students will write a minimum of 3,000 words including a research paper about an approved literary topic. 3 Credits Prerequisite: EN 101. Completion of EN 102 also recommended.
